I may have started something
Yes I may be crazy enough to finally animate boards I designed over a year ago.
Now that I have a few weeks off, I think I’ll make a push to finish this ancient project. Updates to follow.

Sierpinski’s Battleship
This is an aborted project I started with my friend Stieg (http://www.plasticflesh.com/) during fall 2009. The initial concept was Stieg’s: an animated short that centered around the effects of super-long space travel on human society in a possible but distant future. Nice and simple.
I jumped in at the execution phase of things but we were both so busy that we couldn’t contribute enough time to get the project coalesced in any way. It was a real tragedy for me because I’ve been itching to get some of my own work out there after a few years of exclusively commercial stuff. There’s still the future, so I won’t tuck away my hopes just yet.
Below are some backgrounds I worked on for the project. (The last one has Stieg’s artwork laid over it.)
